The Taste of Florida Café is more than lunch. It’s an experience. You’ll find a place where family recipes are prepared with fresh ingredients. Friendly staff serve up homemade soup, fresh salads with gourmet dressings. Try the chicken salad made with slow-roasted chicken, apples and cream cheese. Our desserts are so famous; the grapefruit pie was featured on the Food Network. How about a Strawberry shortcake on cake or biscuit?
(Mary Lang’s recipe) Grapefruit Pie won two taste competitions. The recipe was taken to Japan by the Florida Department of Citrus and also was featured on the Food Network show “Epicurious”. The Café was also reviewed and received 3-½ stars from Central Florida’s Food Critic, Trent Rowe.
